About
I've spent more than two decades as a teacher — wrangling a room full of kids, answering a thousand questions before 9am, and somehow still finding the energy to come home and do it all over again for my own family. I was good at it. I was also completely lost inside my own life.
Somewhere around year fifteen (give or take — teacher years move differently), I hit a wall. I'd spent so long making sure everyone around me — my students, my family, basically anyone who needed something — was okay, that I genuinely didn't know what I wanted anymore. Not for dinner. Not for my Saturday. Not for my life.
So I started making things. Small, simple tools — just for me — to help me think clearer, plan better, and actually hear my own voice again. A brain-dump page here, a routine reset there. They worked. And somewhere along the way, I realized other moms (and teachers, and women just trying to keep their heads above water) needed the exact same thing.
That's how The Margin Notes Club started — not as a big business plan, but as a box of tools I made for myself and decided to share. I think of them as permission to write in the margins of your own life: the small, honest notes that remind you you're still in there, underneath everything you carry. Every product here is something I needed first — tested in my own chaotic, coffee-fueled, very real life before it ever reached yours.
